Our book will be ‘Breakfast with Buddha’ by Roland Merullo.

A Booklist review states ‘The skillful Merullo, using the lightest of touches, slowly turns this low-key comedy into a moving story of spiritual awakening.

The book is available through some suburban libraries but is also available through booksellers such as Barnes & Noble or Abebooks.com.
